Welcome to Explore Boat Trips. By booking our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Payment
Prices are quoted in Euros (€) and can be paid via:
- Bank Transfer (details available upon request)
- PayPal
- Credit/Debit Card
2. Rental Eligibility and Requirements
- Renters must be 18 years or older with valid ID.
- Physically capable of operating the boat safely.
- A mobile phone must be onboard for emergencies.
- Explore reserves the right to refuse rentals if safety concerns arise.
3. Boat Usage Guidelines
- Boats must stay within the approved operational area.
- Approach to Athos Monasteries is prohibited (maintain 500m distance).
- GPS tracking devices must not be tampered with.
- Overloading boats beyond certified capacity is prohibited.
4. Safety and Conduct
- Compliance with Hellenic Coast Guard regulations is mandatory.
- Alcohol and drug consumption by boat operators is strictly prohibited.
- Boats must be returned on time and in the same condition.
- Operators must distribute weight evenly to ensure safe navigation.
5. Damage and Fines
- Customers are fully responsible for any damages during the rental period.
- Fees apply for violations, such as:
- Operation outside the approved area: €100 fine.
- Beaching boats on rocks: €100 fine plus €150 recovery fee.
- Equipment replacement costs:
- Anchor: €70
- Propeller: €150
- Ladder: €150
- Canopy: €300
- Engine Lower Unit: €300
6. Prohibited Uses
Customers may not use boats for:
- Racing or competitive events.
- Carrying hazardous materials.
- Towing other watercraft.
- Operating after dusk.
- Subleasing to third parties.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for full details regarding cancellations and rescheduling.
8. Liability Disclaimer
Explore Boat Trips is not liable for any personal injuries, damages, or losses resulting from improper boat operation.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Greek law, with disputes subject to Thessaloniki courts.
